Can you take a Residential Energy Credit for solar accent lights? - solar powered flood lights
Tax form 5695th It gives you a tax credit of 30% of articles in the solar energy "uses solar energy to generate electricity for use at home."
Closes the solar elements that are not connected to the electricity network in your house? Important things like projectors autonomous solar lights solar outdoor path, shed lights, etc.? They are still used in my home, and save energy, but is not connected to the power of the house.
I have a few other things that I fill in the form anyway, you asked yourself whether you can get credit for them?

N, decorative solar lights are not entitled to credit.
Here is a list of things that qualify for credit: http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=ta ...
Note what he says about the solar cells: Photovoltaic systems must obtain electricity for the residence, and must comply with fire and electrical requirements.
The Rinky-Dink photocells in accent lighting only loads the device's internal battery light. They offer no electricity in the facility and as such do not qualify for credit.
No. See the EPA website for more information about receiving what qualifies and what does not work: http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=ta .... Those that do not provide electricity to the facility and therefore does not qualify as "solar panels.
